The Black Ruby Barb is a lively Sri Lankan barb that combines a patterned juvenile appearance with the rich ruby and dark coloration shown by mature displaying males. A group among plants and shaded edges makes its natural behaviour and colour particularly rewarding.

Why You'll Love Black Ruby Barb

Watching an appropriately sized school develop its natural movement and colour is the appeal of this fish. Provide a settled, well-filtered aquarium, stable water and adequate swimming room from the outset.
