SHIPPING & RETURNS
Orders are shipped throughout South Africa using trusted courier partners. Delivery timing and eligibility vary by product. Livestock orders use designated shipping days and are subject to live-arrival conditions; dry goods and equipment follow the standard returns policy.
LIVESTOCK DOA
For livestock orders only: if livestock arrives deceased (DOA), submit the claim within 2 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the unopened bag, clear photographs of the livestock inside the bag, and your order number.
Approved DOA claims may receive a replacement or store credit at Glass & Gill’s discretion, subject to the policy terms. Non-livestock returns are handled under the standard returns policy.
Hikari Lionhead Mini 350 g is a sinking pellet diet made for fancy goldfish with rounded bodies and developed head growth, particularly lionheads and ranchu. It also suits appropriately sized orandas and other fancy goldfish that feed more comfortably below the surface.
Why it suits fancy goldfish
- Sinking mini pellets: encourage feeding below the surface instead of repeated surface gulping.
- Head-growth focus: developed for varieties selected for prominent wen or head development, while genetics, age and overall husbandry remain important.
- Small pellet size: easier for many compact-bodied fancy goldfish to manage than large koi or pond pellets.
- Targeted feeding: allows keepers to monitor each fish's appetite and avoid competition from faster tankmates.
Suitable for
Lionhead, ranchu and oranda goldfish of a suitable mouth size. This is a specialised fancy-goldfish food, not a replacement for species-specific diets for tropical fish or plecos.
Feeding guidance
Offer small amounts that the fish can finish promptly, once or twice daily according to water temperature, age and appetite. Observe slower-swimming individuals to make sure they receive their share. Remove leftovers and avoid overfeeding, which can worsen water quality and digestive problems in fancy goldfish.
