Black Red Dragon Plakat Female Betta

The Premium Black Red Dragon Plakat Female Betta is built around contrast: a dark, almost black body, vivid red fins and a metallic blue-green layer through the upper scales that gives the fish a dragon-scale influence. The result is a female Betta that looks darker and more dramatic than a standard red-and-black bicolor.

Under low light she can appear nearly black. Under brighter aquarium lighting the reflective scaling becomes visible and the body gains a subtle armour-like texture. That shift in appearance is exactly what makes this fish so appealing in a natural aquascape, where the metallic highlights flash against wood, stone and green plants.

Female Bettas remain territorial even when their fins are shorter. Some are tolerant; others can be very assertive. Use plants and hardscape to break sight lines, and never assume a female will automatically suit a sorority or community aquarium.
