The SOBO SB-2602 Sponge Filter is an air-driven aquarium filter designed to combine gentle water movement with a large sponge surface for beneficial bacteria to colonise. Its compact, stacked-sponge format offers simple, accessible biological and mechanical filtration.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Air-driven operation with no internal electrical motor.
  • Sponge surface supports biological filtration once the aquarium is correctly cycled.
  • Gentle flow and simple maintenance for suitable small freshwater systems.
  • Easy to pair with a compatible air pump, airline and fittings.

Product Details

  • Brand: SOBO
  • Model: SB-2602
  • Type: Sponge filter
  • Power: External air supply required

Important

Air pump, airline tubing and non-return valve are sold separately unless expressly stated. Match air pump output to aquarium size, fish requirements and filter flow. To preserve beneficial bacteria, clean the sponge gently in removed aquarium water instead of chlorinated tap water.

Plan your aquarium: Explore filtration and circulation guidance before buying, and browse water-care supplies when completing a suitable setup.
