A mixed selection of domestic freshwater angelfish colour forms, selected from the supplier's assorted batch. This is the option for aquarists who enjoy variety rather than purchasing a guaranteed named morph. Colours and markings will vary between individual fish; Golden, Silver, Marble, Zebra or other patterns are not guaranteed.

Why you'll love Assorted Angelfish

Elegant, tall-bodied freshwater angelfish make a strong centrepiece while rewarding careful observation and consistent husbandry.

Care at a glance

  • Scientific name: Pterophyllum scalare (domestic angelfish form).
  • Minimum aquarium: approximately 120 L for an appropriate adult setup; larger and taller aquariums for groups.
  • Temperature: 25–28°C; pH: approximately 6.5–7.5, with stable parameters.
  • Adult size: around 15 cm body length and potentially 20 cm or more in overall height including fins.
  • Diet: varied quality omnivore foods, including appropriate pellets, flakes and occasional frozen foods.
  • Temperament: generally calm but territorial when pairing or breeding; tiny fish and fry may be eaten.
  • Difficulty: moderate.

Choosing tank mates

Choose similarly sized, peaceful tank mates and avoid fin-nipping species. Use tall planting, branches and other visual barriers so fish can establish comfortable territories. Acclimate gently and maintain consistent water quality.
