Representative photo — individual colours and markings may vary. This is a female Betta splendens with a distinctive koi-style marbled pattern combining red, white, dark and blue tones. Pattern distribution may change naturally over time as marble Bettas mature.

What makes her special?

  • Female Betta selected from the colour variety shown; each fish has individual markings
  • Unique multi-colour koi pattern visible in the original Glass & Gill photographs
  • Shorter-finned female appearance suited to a well-planted Betta aquarium

Care requirements

  • Adult size: approximately 5–7 cm
  • Minimum aquarium: 20 litres for a single Betta; larger is better
  • Temperature: 24–28°C
  • pH: approximately 6.5–7.5
  • Temperament: Individual personality varies; Bettas can be territorial
  • Diet: High-quality Betta pellets supplemented with suitable frozen or live foods
  • Environment: Gentle filtration, low flow, plant cover and easy access to the surface

Compatibility

Keep as an individual unless compatibility has been carefully assessed. Housing female Bettas together is not automatically safe; aggression and stress can occur. Avoid fin-nipping fish and monitor any tankmates closely.

Glass & Gill: Representative photographs of our female Bettas. Each fish has unique coloration and markings; the individual fish dispatched may differ from the example pictured. Livestock is subject to a health check before dispatch.
